Streetside Sage Scrub

In January 2015, around 900 sqft of lawn (including invasive grasses) was removed in favor of a drought-tolerant, Southern California native habitat garden including:

  • a decomposed granite (DG) path, bordered with rocks & logs from the site

  • a footbridge that crosses over a dry creek, which feeds a dry pond for catching rainwater

  • a flagstone driveway extension
