In November 2019, we helped these homeowners convert their struggling lawn into a charming place to gather via a rebate from SoCal Water$mart. Around 2,500 sqft of lawn, palms, & other non-native plants were removed & replaced with various selected California native plants & cultivars featuring:

• a decomposed granite (DG) path with a seating area

• a dry pond (for water retention) with boulders transported from Pauma Valley

• terraced levels bordered by small boulders

• three large step-like platforms leading from the mailbox to the front door

• a two-valve, water-efficient irrigation sprinkler system
