In February 2019, around 900 sqft of gravel, blocks, palms, birds-of-paradise & other invasive, non-native plants were replaced in favor of various California native plants & cultivars featuring:

• a decomposed granite (DG) path bordered with logs from the site

• a meandering boulder wall

• an arch trellis with a CA native vine

• a dry pond to catch rainwater
