Blue-eyed Grass is a small, summer deciduous grass that grow quickly and spreads readily. Each year they will expand from the root mass and spread by seed as well.

In the garden, place these around pathways, between rocks, and boulders around a stream bed. Be aware that these are similar to a bulb, it will die back in the summer, but will come back when the winter rains arrive. That being said, do not use these in the garden where you want some consistent year round. After flowering, cut these all the way back to the ground. When they appear in the winter, dig some up and move around. They transplant very easily.
