Purple Sage ‘Point Sal’
Purple Sage ‘Point Sal’ is a small to medium, summer semi-deciduous shrub that grows moderately. The leaves are sweet smelling and gray colored. It definitely likes more irrigation than other sages, since it is a selection from costal California. Without irrigation it will drop lots of leaves in the summer and look like a bramble.

In the garden, this is used as a slope stabilization, mass scale ground cover to crowd out weeds, and used in more formal settings, due to its ability to be hedge trimmed well.
